Surf Rescue
Surf Rescue patrols beaches in Duck and Southern Shores from May 1st through October 31st. Surf Rescue includes 16 lifeguard stands operating from 10am-6pm and 6 ATVs operating from 10am-8pm. During this time all operations will be overseen by a captain in the Surf Rescue truck.

National Seashore Lifeguards
In addition to Duck and Southern Shore, Surf Rescue provides lifeguards to 4 locations along the National Seashore.
